The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), observed Lockport's softball team notch a victory over Sandburg by a tally of 10-0.

The Porters (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban bout, on Monday, April 21. Sandburg will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 13-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lake Central (St. John, IN).
