The Loyalsock Township Lancers overwhelmed the host Southern Columbia Area Tigers softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Heartland III challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Loyalsock Township will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA).

The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Warriors go into the challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Montoursville toppled Hughesville (Hughesville, PA), 4-1, in a league challenge.
