The Riverdale Chieftains softball squad (Muscoda, WI), was routed 11-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI)
With the triumph, Mineral Point improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Pointers host Fennimore (Fennimore, WI) to face the Golden Eagles in a SWAL contest on Monday, April 21. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a record of 8-2. Fennimore lost 9-7 in their recent league contest against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI)
The Chieftains now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Darlington for a SWAL contest on Monday, April 21. Riverdale will face a Redbirds squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Redbirds record now stands at 1-6.
