In Thursday's non-league test, the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) softball squad the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), by a tally of 10-7.
Next, the Seminoles meet the The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 18. Monroe Central will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Cadets go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Caldwell (Caldwell, OH).
The Jets (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH). The Big Reds go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Bellaire held off St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH), 15-2, in a league test.
