The Northside Vikings softball squad (Roanoke, VA), was routed 10-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Salem Spartans (Salem, VA)
With the triumph, Salem improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Spartans host Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA) to face the Blue Demons in a River Ridge contest on Friday, April 18. The Blue Demons enter the contest with a record of 6-3. Christiansburg won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Auburn (Riner, VA)
The Vikings now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge contest on Friday, April 18. Northside will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
