South Carolina High School Softball - Northwestern can't get by Rock Hill

The Rock Hill Bearcats edged the visiting Northwestern Trojans softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Monday, April 28. Rock Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SC).

The Trojans (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Chester (Chester, SC). The Cyclones enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Chester was nudged by Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC), 11-2, in a non-league challenge.
