In Thursday's league match, the host Ware Indians softball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Palmer Panthers.

The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA). The Falcons go into the PVIAC - Bi County match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Smith Academy was routed by Southwick Regional (Southwick, MA), 14-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 23. Palmer will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record.
