Alabama High School Softball - Park Crossing knocked off by Russell County

April 17, 2025: Seale, AL 36875

The Russell County Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Park Crossing Thunderbirds softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Abbeville Yellowjackets (Abbeville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Russell County (Seale, AL).

The Thunderbirds (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Percy Julian (Montgomery, AL). The Phoenix go into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Percy Julian was routed by Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL), 15-0, in a league challenge.
