In Thursday's league match, the visiting Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm softball team scored a tight 9-4 win over the Pawnee Indians.
The Storm (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL). The Conquering Riders come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Arthur-Okaw Christian was routed by Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL), 12-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. Pawnee will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Hawks come into the match with a 17-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL).
