The Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) softball routed the visiting Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), 12-5 in Thursday's league outing.

The Gladiators now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Gap for a Shenandoah outing on Tuesday, April 22. Riverheads will encounter a Bison team coming off a 22-6 non-league win over Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Bison record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Staunton moves to 1-5 on the season. The Storm host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to encounter the Black Knights in a non-league outing on Monday, April 21. The Black Knights come into the outing with a record of 0-4.
