In Thursday's league match, the host Tazewell Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Virginia High Bearcats.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes come into the Southwest match with a 3-6 record.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a Southwest match, on Tuesday, April 22. Virginia High will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Blue Tornado come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Union (Big Stone Gap, VA).
