The Angleton Wildcats baseball squad (Angleton, TX), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Friday's league contest with the host La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX)

With the triumph, La Porte moves its record to 12-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX) to confront the Pioneers in a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, April 21. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 21-8. Iowa Colony lost 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against Brenham (Brenham, TX)

The Wildcats now possess a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Friendswood for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, April 21. Angleton will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-10.
