In Friday's league game, the visiting Tunstall Trojans baseball team scored a close 6-4 victory over the Halifax County Comets.

The Trojans (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bengals enter the Piedmont game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Bassett held off George Washington (Danville, VA), 17-1, in a league game.
