Illinois High School Baseball - Hall defeats Putnam County

April 17, 2026: Spring Valley, IL 61362

In Friday's non-league game, the host Hall Red Devils baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Putnam County Panthers.

The Red Devils (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers game with a 12-1 record. In their last game, Newman Central Catholic nudged Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 4-2, in a league game.

Next, the Panthers play the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 18. Putnam County will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record.
