The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Rustburg Red Devils to 0 in the Cavaliers league win on Friday.

The Cavaliers now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookville for a Seminole test on Tuesday, April 21. Jefferson Forest will play a Bees team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Rustburg drops to 6-4 on the year. The Red devils host Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Hilltoppers in a Seminole test on Tuesday, April 21. The Hilltoppers go into the test with a record of 5-4. Glass won 15-2 in their recent non-league test against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA)
