Texas High School Baseball - North Side defeats Polytechnic

April 17, 2026: Fort Worth, TX 76105

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), saw North Side's baseball team gain a win over Polytechnic by a tally of 11-5.

The Steers (15-16) will now prepare for their battle against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions enter the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, South Hills held off Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX), 16-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Parrots face the Paschal Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 battle, on Wednesday, April 22. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 23-3 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX).
