Michigan High School Baseball - Salem nips Stevenson

The Salem Rocks baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Stevenson Spartans to 1 in the Rocks non-league win on Friday.

The Rocks now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Western for a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. Salem will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 9-8 league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Stevenson drops to 8-5 on the year. The Spartans host Garden City (Garden City, MI) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 7-2. Garden City lost 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Howell (Howell, MI)
