The Bristol Central Rams softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Bristol Eastern Lancers to 6 in the Rams non-league win on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league battle on Monday, April 20. Bristol Central will confront a Blue Dragons team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial (Coventry, CT). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Bristol Eastern moves to 1-6 on the season. The Lancers host Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT) to confront the Guardians in a non-league battle on Monday, April 20.
