Kentucky High School Softball - Floyd Central tipped by Daviess County

Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), 5-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Daviess County upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Jasper (Jasper, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, April 20. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-4. Jasper won 8-1 in their recent league game against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN)

The Highlanders now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jeffersonville for a Hoosier Hills game on Monday, April 20. Floyd Central will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 22-1 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-5.
