California High School Softball - Oxnard bounces San Marcos

April 17, 2026: Santa Barbara, CA 93110

In Friday's league match, the visiting Oxnard Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the San Marcos Royals.

The Yellowjackets (11-7) will now prepare for their match against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars go into the Channel match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, Ventura gained a win over Pacifica (Oxnard, CA), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Royals battle the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel match, on Tuesday, April 21. San Marcos will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The Tritons go into the match with a 5-12 record after their 11-1 league loss to Ventura (Ventura, CA).
