The Watseka Warriors edged the host Salt Fork Storm softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Monday, April 20. Watseka will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL).

The Storm (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Purple Riders enter the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record.
