In Monday's non-league game, the host Washington County Commanders baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Burgin Bulldogs.

The Commanders (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY). The Tigers go into the District 19 game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Bardstown by Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY), 17-3, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their game against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts go into the District 46 match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, West Jessamine edged Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league match.
