In Monday's league game, the host West Springfield Terriers baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the East Longmeadow Spartans.
The Terriers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Braves go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Taconic tipped Holyoke (Holyoke, MA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Westfield (Westfield, MA). The Bombers go into the Valley game with a 4-0 record.
