In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Yates Center Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 16-8 victory over the Oswego Indians.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Uniontown overcame St. Paul (St. Paul, KS), 22-5, in a non-league game.
The Indians (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Chetopa (Chetopa, KS). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Chetopa was overwhelmed by Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS), 17-2, in a non-league game.
