Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bushmen now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warwick for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21.
With the loss, Newburgh Free Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Goldbacks host Chester (Chester, NY) to face the Hambletonians in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Hambletonians enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
