Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA), 24-6 in a league battle.

The Black Knights now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Crest for a Lancaster-Lebanon match on Wednesday, April 20. Hempfield will play a Falcons team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Penn Manor drops to 2-3 on the season. The Comets host Warwick (Lititz, PA) to play the Warriors in a Lancaster-Lebanon match on Monday, April 18. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 2-4. Warwick lost 9-6 in their recent league match against Cocalico (Denver, PA)
