The Altamont Longhorns softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Draper APA Eagles to 0 in the Longhorns league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Altamont moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT) to encounter the Winged Lions in a 2A test on Wednesday, April 20. The Winged Lions enter the test with a record of 2-6. Rowland Hall won 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Judge Memorial (Salt Lake City, UT)

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their test against American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, American Leadership Academy prevailed over Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT), 22-7, in a league test.
