California High School Softball - Faith Baptist bounces Desert Christian

Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Contenders now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakwood for a Heritage challenge on Thursday, April 21. Faith Baptist will battle a Owls squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA). The Owls record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Desert Christian falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA) to battle the Owls in a Heritage challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Oakwood lost 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Vasquez (Acton, CA)
