The Prairie Pirates softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Genesee Bulldogs to 8 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Prairie moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Pirates host Nezperce (Nezperce, ID) to clash with the Nighthawks in a 1A White Pine game on Tuesday, April 19. The Nighthawks come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lapwai Wildcats (Lapwai, ID) in a 1A White Pine game, on Thursday, April 21. Genesee will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 25-1 league loss to Kendrick (Kendrick, ID).
