West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kearns for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. West will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Granger falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Hunter (West Valley City, UT) to battle the Wolverines in a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Hunter won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT)
