Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Owls now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Londonderry for a Division I challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Timberlane will face a Lancers squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Lancers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Keene falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blackbirds travel to Windham (Windham, NH) to face the Jaguars in a Division I challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
