California High School Softball - San Marin holds off Novato

April 18, 2022: Novato, CA 94947

San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 9-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, San Marin improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, April 23. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 12-6.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Terra Linda Trojans (San Rafael, CA) in a Marin County game, on Wednesday, April 20. Novato will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 21-0 league loss to Redwood (Larkspur, CA).
