Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy for a 1A Area 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Skyline will face a Eagles squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Athens Bible (Athens, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Pisgah falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Sylvania (Sylvania, AL) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 10-15. Sylvania won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Collinsville (Collinsville, AL)
