In Tuesday's league game, the host Riverdale Baptist Crusaders baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Avalon Black Knights.
The Crusaders (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the Washington Catholic game with a 8-13 record. In their last game, Archbishop Carroll was edged by Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 9-0, in a league game.
The Black Knights (7-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Panthers go into the game with a 0-5 record.
