Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) and the host Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA), saw Central Valley's baseball squad knock off Beaver by a count of 3-1.

The Warriors (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Mohawk Area tipped Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA), 9-2, in a league match.

The Bobcats (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes go into the WPIAL 3A 2 match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Avonworth tipped South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA), 10-0, in a league match.
