The Omak Pioneers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Cashmere Bulldogs to 5 in the Pioneers league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Chelan (Chelan, WA). The Mountain Goats go into the 1A Caribou Trail match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Chelan was overwhelmed by Brewster (Brewster, WA), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their match against La Salle (Union Gap, WA). The Lightning go into the non-league match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, La Salle was overwhelmed by Toppenish (Toppenish, WA), 5-3, in a league match.
