In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Hopkinsville Tigers baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Fort Campbell Falcons.
The Tigers (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Colonels go into the District 8 game with a 11-6 record. In their last game, Christian County tipped McCracken County (Paducah, KY), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Falcons (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Dawson Springs was overwhelmed by Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 7-4, in a non-league game.
