The High Point Central Bison baseball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 19-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC)
The Storm now hold a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williams for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 19. Southern Guilford will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.
With the defeat, High Point Central falls to 2-13 on the season. The Bison host Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Golden Eagles in a Mid-State 3A test on Wednesday, April 19. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-11. Ben L. Smith lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)
