Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), 11-10 in a non-league test.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 9-15 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Columbus (Columbus, GA) to battle the Blue Devils in a 3A Area 1 test on Friday, April 21. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 18-10. Columbus won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Northside (Columbus, GA)

With the defeat, Randolph-Clay falls to 6-13 on the season. The Red devils travel to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to battle the Hornets in a 1A D-II Area 1 test on Wednesday, April 19. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-13. Quitman County lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Early County (Blakely, GA)
