The Bells go into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over De La Salle (Concord, CA).

With the loss, Serra moves to 13-20 on the year. The Padres travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a WCAL contest on Thursday, April 20. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 11-15. St. Ignatius College Preparatory lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)
