The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Gunderson Grizzlies to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Teresa for a non-league game on Monday, April 24. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA). The Saints record now stands at 4-10.

The Grizzlies (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Eagles enter the BVAL - West Valley game with a 12-8 record. In their last game, Oak Grove held off Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
