The Pacific Ridge Firebird volleyball team (Carlsbad, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA)

The Eagles (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Knights enter the Coastal challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Bishop's nipped Classical Academy (Escondido, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebird meet the Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Pacific Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Caimans enter the challenge with a 17-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bishop's (La Jolla, CA).
