The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA) and the visiting Villa Joseph Marie Jems (Holland, PA), saw Gwynedd Mercy Academy's lacrosse team top Villa Joseph Marie by a margin of 19-4.
The Monarchs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA). The enter the Catholic Academies challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Mt. St. Joseph Academy beat Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA), 19-2, in a league challenge.
The Jems (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA). The Golden Bears enter the Catholic Academies challenge with a 1-0 record.
