North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Union Pines sneaks past Willow Spring

April 18, 2023: Cameron, NC 28326

The Union Pines Vikings lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Willow Spring Storm to 15 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Coastal North Carolina HomeSchool for a non-league battle on Friday, April 21. Union Pines will clash with a Brigade squad coming off a 20-2 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Brigade record now stands at 2-0.

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River battle, on Thursday, April 20. Willow Spring will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 21-8 league win over Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
