Next, the Patriots confront the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge, on Wednesday, April 19. Pender will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 7-0 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC).

The Gators now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Friday, April 21. East Columbus will confront a Stallions team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 4-7.
