In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Polk County Wolverines.
The Bearcats (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans come into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Chase was nudged by East Rutherford (Forest City, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Wolverines (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers come into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, R-S Central Brevard (Brevard, NC), 1-1, in a league battle.
