Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. John Bosco Academy (Cumming, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lightning face the Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) in a GAPPS I-AA Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Lanier Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Paladins enter the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA).

The now have a 8-4 record.
