Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a Carolina 1A challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Union will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC).

The Eagles now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neuse Charter for a Carolina 1A challenge on Thursday, April 20. Rosewood will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-4.
