North Carolina High School Baseball - Pinecrest defeats Hoke County

Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-7.

With the defeat, Hoke County falls to 2-8 on the season. The Bucks host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 3-8. Jack Britt lost 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)
