Next, the Bulldogs confront the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Newberry will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Iron Horses enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 9-2 league win over Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC).

The Panthers now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mid-Carolina for a AA Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 20. Abbeville will confront a Rebels team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 7-9.
